Signal Copier Pro vs 3Commas: honest comparison
These are different products solving different problems. This page explains who each fits — and why running both might actually be the right call.
5-second summary
3Commas is a full crypto trading platform — DCA bots, grid bots, smart trading terminals, signal-following, portfolio management, copy-trading, paper trading. It's a Swiss army knife that's been around since 2017.
Signal Copier Pro does one thing very well: auto-execute Discord and Telegram trade signals into your own broker account. We're a sharp tool, not a Swiss army knife. We also support MetaTrader 5 forex, which 3Commas does not.
Pick 3Commas if: you want grid bots, DCA bots, portfolio rebalancing, and a unified trading terminal across multiple exchanges — and you don't follow Discord signal channels.
Pick Signal Copier Pro if: your trading workflow is "follow Discord/Telegram signals, execute them automatically" — especially if any of those signals are forex.

Why 3Commas isn't really a "competitor"
If you came here looking to choose between us, you might have been comparing the wrong things. 3Commas's "signal" feature is a workflow on top of their main product — DCA and grid bots running 24/7 on prices, not on signals from chat channels. They added Discord/Telegram support over time but it's not the core use case.
Signal Copier Pro is purpose-built for the workflow: signal arrives → AI parses → trade fires. That's the whole product. It's faster and more reliable for that one job because it's the only job we do.
If your daily reality is:
- Watching Discord/Telegram for signals from people you trust
- Manually copying those signals into your broker
- Sometimes missing entries because you're at work / asleep
...then we're the right tool. 3Commas would feel like buying a tractor when you needed a wrench.
Why use 3Commas (legitimately)
- You want algorithmic strategies (DCA, grid). 3Commas's grid bot is genuinely good. We don't compete here at all.
- You want a unified trading terminal across exchanges. 3Commas SmartTrade lets you place orders on Binance / Bybit / OKX from one screen with synced charting. We don't.
- You want a marketplace of strategies to buy. 3Commas has hundreds of pre-built bots you can subscribe to with one click.
- You're a multi-exchange portfolio trader. Their portfolio dashboard aggregates positions across exchanges in real time.
Why use Signal Copier Pro
- Discord-first. Most of the highest-quality paid signal channels in 2026 are Discord, not Telegram. Cornix and 3Commas treat Discord as an afterthought; we treat it as primary.
- MT5 forex. If you trade an FTMO challenge, IC Markets account, or any MT5 broker, 3Commas can't help you. We do this natively.
- AI parser. We don't require signals to follow a template. "BTC long, market entry, stop a bit under previous support around 64k" parses correctly. 3Commas's auto-trade-from-signal flow needs structured webhooks or a bot that's been pre-trained on a specific channel's format.
- Live trade feed. Real public proof at /live — no signup required to see the system working.
- One job, done well. We're a sharp tool, not a platform. Less to learn, faster to set up, less surface area for bugs.
Pricing
Direct comparison is unfair because the products differ in scope. Rough head-to-head for "auto-trade from signals" feature alone:
| Tier | Signal Copier Pro | 3Commas (signal feature only) |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29/mo | $22/mo |
| Pro | $79/mo | $37/mo |
| Enterprise | $199/mo | $74/mo |
3Commas is cheaper if all you need is the signal feature. We charge more because (a) AI parsing isn't free, (b) we ship features faster on the signal-copy use case specifically, (c) we don't have grid/DCA/marketplace cross-subsidies.
Forex (MT5) — only Signal Copier Pro: $29 / $79 / $149 monthly. Flat fee, no profit share.
Can I use both?
Yes — and many traders do. Run 3Commas for your DCA bot on BTC and your grid bot on ETH. Run Signal Copier Pro for your two paid Discord channels and your FTMO challenge. They don't interfere with each other; you'd connect each to your Binance account with separate API keys (or just give both the same key — Binance allows multiple consumer apps).
Verdict
Pick 3Commas if:
- You want grid bots and DCA bots more than signal-copy.
- You're a portfolio trader managing positions across 3+ exchanges.
- You want a marketplace of strategies you can subscribe to.
- You don't trade forex.
Pick Signal Copier Pro if:
- Your day-to-day workflow is following Discord/Telegram signal channels.
- You want signals to execute even when you're not at the screen.
- You also use MT5 forex (FTMO, IC Markets, Pepperstone).
- You'd rather have a sharp tool that does one thing well than a platform that does ten things adequately.
